Perspectives
Perspectives on academic portfolio strategy, credential design, and workforce alignment. For university presidents and provosts navigating consequential decisions.
The Demographic Cliff Doesn't Change What to Cut. It Changes How Much Time You Have to Decide.
WICHE projects U.S. high school graduates will decline 13% by 2041. The real question for provosts isn't which programs are shrinking — it's how much time is left to decide well, before a budget forces the decision instead.
The Credential Portfolio Question Most Institutions Can't Answer

Credential Engine counts 1.85 million unique credentials nationally now, up from 1.07 million three years ago. Every one of them is competing for the same scarce attention.
