Dr. Sarah DeMark began her career building global certification and assessment programs at Cisco and VMware, then spent two decades leading academic portfolio strategy, credential design, and workforce alignment from inside one of the most innovative institutions in higher education.

  • Served in senior roles at WGU, including Vice Provost of Academic Portfolio and Interim Provost

  • Led academic portfolio strategy across business, technology, health, and education, connecting program design to workforce relevance and student mobility

  • Shaped one of the field’s most visible models for skills transparency, digital credentials, and clearer ways to communicate capability
